Path of Memory
[Conceptual Jewelry]
“I link my memories to my body”The traces of our life in a house will be written into our self-memory, and the time we stay in each house is limited, so I translate the house into data through spatial scanning, and produce positive and negative jewellery in the form of ‘house outline - my life scope’ as a memory bearer. We can read the growth story of each person from the comparison of the positive and negative shapes of different houses.
I scanned the three spaces most representative of monumental significance in my life so far, and determined unique jewelry styles by obtaining scenic models and architectural floor plans.
I used my own personal belongings left behind in each space as locus points, connecting each locus point to form a self-activity path, and extracting the positive and negative shapes of the floor plan and the activity paths as jewelry shapes.
